As we pack away our winter wardrobe and bring back the sandals and flip flops (never too early for flip flops!), let us say a proper goodbye to old man winter with this engagement shoot of Yeena and Peter. I blogged about the inspiration behind this session here. Talk about extreme weather photography - there was a reported snow squall warning not twenty minutes from when we did our last shot of the day! I met with Yeena and Peter on the slopes of Blue Mountain that cold winter day as they put in some runs for their first snowboarding session of the season, the same place where Peter proposed to Yeena once upon a time. After we had enough of the snow, we made our way over to Mill Pond in the heart of the Village for some ice skating. Now, I've been told that Peter was known for his fancy footwork on ice - with seven years of figure skating tucked under his belt. Too bad the ice was in terrible condition that day otherwise, I know in my heart, I would have been witness to a triple-axel and perhaps some sort of lift, maybe from Dirty Dancing. Yes a girl can dream.

Yeena and Peter thanks for bringing me back to many, many childhood memories of playing outside in the snow and enjoying winter festivities, next time perhaps I won't attempt to do this in my Uggs. Can't wait to hang out with you guys again on your wedding day in October!
